In a move that is rapidly becoming more typical than we dare imagine, the Arizona State Lad Department has granted W.R. Henderson a 640-acre mineral exploration lease, immediately north of their current aggregate operations.

In 2007, our Coalition won a major victory for the Empire-Fagan Valley.  Working with Mr. Jeff Parsons of the Western Mining Action Coalition, our Coalition appealed the company's mining plan of operations.

The appeal eventually reached the Chief Magistrate of the IBLA, the highest federal body that reviews BLM decisions.  The IBLA remanded the plan back to Tucson, and put an indefinite stay on any mining operations on federal land.
